Testing in Real Life Learning Lab (Zuyd)
In the Real Life Learning Lab of Zuyd the developed multifunctional envelope elements and ‘engine modules’ will be tested under defined simulated conditions in laboratory at basic module size (hygrothermal tests, mechanical load tests, energy performance tests (energy components). Facade and roof elements will be applied in a test environment, consisting of a Real life Learning Lab: an actual existing building site representing local conditions. For Zuyd University and CVUT this will be based on the Real Life Learning Lab concepts as developed in the EAC EURL3A project: www.eurl3a.eu
